About Ryuqi

Bridging Ancient Energy Arts for the Modern World

Ryuqi was born from the meeting of two ancient streams of wisdom — Ryu, the Japanese word for dragon, symbol of strength, transformation, and spiritual power, and Qi (Chi), the Chinese word for life force energy, the vital current that flows through all living beings.

Together, they form Ryuqi — a name that embodies movement, vitality, and awakening.

At Ryuqi — Energetics, we unite the disciplines of Japanese Reiki and Chinese Qi Gong into a cohesive system of healing and meditation. Each practice complements the other: Reiki refines awareness and channeling of universal energy, while Qi Gong cultivates internal strength and harmony through breath, movement, and intention.

This integration creates a complete energetic education — one that helps you awaken your inner life force, find balance, and live with clarity and presence.

With over two decades of experience in energetic healing, meditation, and teaching, Ryuqi’s founder Luke Freemanguides students to develop genuine energetic awareness — not as a concept, but as a living experience.

Ryuqi is more than a school of healing; it is a path of self-mastery and transformation.
A place to explore the subtle, powerful language of energy — and to remember the balance that has always lived within you.

About The Founder

Guided by Experience. Grounded in Energy.

Luke Freeman is the founder and principal teacher of Ryuqi — Energetics.
With over 24 years of experience in the art of Reiki, meditation, and energetic healing, Luke brings depth, authenticity, and clarity to his teachings.

His journey began with a personal search for balance and understanding of the unseen forces that shape life. Over decades of practice, study, and teaching, he has refined a path that blends the Japanese tradition of Reiki with the Chinese discipline of Qi Gong — two systems united by their reverence for life force energy.

Luke’s approach is both spiritual and practical. He teaches how to sense, cultivate, and direct energy consciously — not as abstract theory, but as a lived, embodied experience.
His classes and trainings help students reconnect with their natural vitality, clarity, and intuition, guiding them toward greater self-awareness and inner peace.

Today, through Ryuqi, Luke shares this work with a growing community of students, practitioners, and seekers who are ready to awaken their energy and live in alignment with their true nature.

Authentic Lineages & Training

Traditional Japanese Reiki Lineage

Rooted in the teachings of Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki, this lineage follows the authentic tradition preserved by the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai in Japan.
This system emphasizes direct experience through hands-on practice, meditation, and spiritual cultivation — guiding the practitioner to awaken their innate connection to Rei (Universal Spirit) and Ki (Life Energy).
Through this lineage, Ryuqi maintains the essence of the original Japanese approach: simplicity, mindfulness, and the art of inner harmony.
